The Periodic Table of Latin Declensions

My brother Jeff is carrying on the proud tradition of Tibbetts Classicists at the University of Iowa by taking elementary Latin. At his request, and because I’ve always wanted to do it, I wrote a tabular overview of the Latin declension endings and how they got that way. This wasn’t the way I was taught, but I wish that it had been. Now I want to do the same for the Greek dialects, other Italic dialects–maybe even all of the Indo-European languages.

Be sure to roll over each ending to see all other places where the same ending occurs.

Note that I’ve made significant improvements to the table in the past week, but I haven’t uploaded it.
