See’s the Day
Odds are good that A will take the Area Coordinator position with See’s Candy this fall. It sounds like a great opportunity for her–she’ll work mostly at home, it sounds mostly stress-free, the pay’s quite decent, it’s part-time all year except in November and December, and, well, let’s face it, she loves See’s candy and she goes to the malls where the kiosks will be anyway! ;^) The job won’t be without some complications, however, especially regarding K’s schooling, which we’ll have to up to 5 days a week.
My only regret is that her pay will be in cash instead of in shares of Berkshire Hathaway stock. Of course, it’d take a couple years’ worth of full-time work to earn even one share.
